‘Racist document’ stipulates white teachers would be laid off in Minnesota

Former Liberal Party candidate Warren Mundine says the idea of laying off white teachers in Minnesota is “racist”.

Minnesota has reportedly put out a system to deprioritize the more senior teacher, who is not a member of an underrepresented population.

Mr Mundine said he cannot believe the “mess” when discussing the issue.

“Now we’ve gone so far into racism now, it’s unbelievable,” he told Sky News Australia.

“I’ve never heard such a racist document since the Ku Klux Klan rode into Georgia.”
