QUT Digital Media Research Centre Director Professor Patrik Wikstrom says Elon Musk “doesn’t really seem to know where he wants to go”, following the Twitter CEO’s recommendation for Americans to vote for a Republican Congress.
“This announcement this morning is another example of that, where he’s been saying at one point that he’s going to be neutral and the next point he’s giving very direct ideas about where he’s standing politically,” Professor Wikstrom told Sky News Australia.
“So it does look like Twitter is on fire to be honest and people are leaving the platform because they are uncertain of where it will go with Elon Musk at the helm.”
