It has not been a “good week” for US President Joe Biden, says Sky News contributor Kosha Gada.
OPEC+, the oil producer group comprising the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries plus their allies, announced last week they would be cutting their oil production target despite US objections.
Mr Biden says he is reassessing the relationship with Saudi Arabia in the wake of the decision.
“I think those words, unfortunately, ring hollow,” Ms Gada told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“Unless they come with a very serious policy position on amping up domestic production.”
