Albanese government engaging in ‘exaggerated and convictive outrage’ over Morrison

Sky News host Chris Smith says the Albanese government has “perfected the art of being an opposing party” but need to realise they are in power.

“I get the outrage, I get that they can’t forfeit the free kick and I get that the more they massacre the vanquished, the longer it takes, for the Liberal Party, to resurrect its brand,” he said.

“But this country has so many desperate problems and conflicts right now, are we really going to obsess about a control freak former PM, who didn’t breach the Constitution, didn’t meddle as much as he may have but adopted five ministries and behaved like a snake to his team?”

Mr Smith said the government should be dealing with the cost of living and collapse of living standards, not engaging in “exaggerated and convictive outrage” over Mr Morrison’s actions.
